Pain therapy contains a range of therapeutic measures to treat acute or chronic pain. The holistic approach to pain therapy works quickly and immediately which means that the effects are directly visible. It includes various methods that are selected for you individually situation.
Pain can be effectively suppressed with painkillers, but this is not a sustainable solution. This is because they do not eliminate the root of the problem and only suppress the symptoms. Pain must be understood as a signal from our body, which wants us to change. If these signals are suppressed, the healing process will take longer or chronification occurs.
In a treatment we try to identify the cause of your pain together. Muscle function tests are especially useful to identify misalignments in the body that can be the reason of the problem. Afterwards we treat the pain with a form of Trigger point treatment, to improve the pain and mobility.
Together we will create a personal training plan for you, which includes stretching and strengthening exercises as well as certain movement patterns. These will help you stretch out shortened muscles, strengthen weak areas and to target certain muscle groups in a better way.
After just one treatment, you will have enough exercises to treat your pain on your own.
